Alexa Chung at the British Fashion Awards. Congratulations on winning the British Style Award for the second time running. That hair is making me want to chop mine off all over again... doubt I'd look quite so good though.
A preview of the H&M spring 2012 collection via Carolines Mode. Is it just me or does this collection look far from high street? Particularly love the white leather accessories, jewellery, quilted jackets, zipped shorts and neutral basics. The colour palette (or lack of) and use of texture is on point too. I'm excited.
Oh and I know I've been rubbish what with deadlines and everything else, but I can't wait to show you the goodies I received in the post today...
What my winter wardrobe looks like in the little dream world of mine... absolute clothes porn. I don't even know where to start with what I love about this outfit. To be honest I'm pretty much speechless so I'll just leave you to stare. One day, one day.
My favourite pieces from the Nowhere collection… Relaxed, masculine, Wang-inspired basics are definitely my thing and the prices are so reasonable. Love the zip detailing on those trousers and I pretty much need that bomber jacket and aubergine knit. And how good is that pierced clutch? Such a good idea. Yet another brand I have found and instantly fallen in love with while having absolutely no money. Christmas needs to hurry up already!
While in London I made sure I visited Bubbleology on Rupert Street, Soho, to try this bubble tea everyone seems to be babbling on about. Absolutely bizarre. It's basically a choice of fruit or milk tea served hot or cold and bursting with chewy natural tapioca balls, which are basically like chewy gummy bears made from brown sugar, cassava root and sweet potato of all things? I chose a white peach fruit tea with lychee popping things (definitely not the correct term but I can't remember what they're called). Definitely recommend, even if it is a bit weird...
After a lot of free champagne from Carnaby Street's 20% off event my friend Caia and I stumbled across the Grazia Daily First Ever Bloggers Event held at Speakeasy Espresso and Brew Bar, Carnaby (not exaggerating when I say they served the best cakes and brownies ever). It was lovely to meet the Grazia Daily team and bloggers in a similar positions, so thank you to everyone that was there. Click here to view the video and see the other bloggers that took part. I had drunk quite a lot by this point so please ignore whatever I say. Hate hearing my voice back more than anything ever.
I came across Imogen Houldsworth, a BA (hons) Textiles graduate from the Chelsea College of Art and Design, a couple of days ago and haven't been able to stop thinking about her designs since. Her pieces, inspired by photography and hand drawing, are a collection of simple, free-falling basics full of texture and repeat 3D patterns. As you are all fully aware I am not into loud prints and colours so this collection is the perfect, subtle substitute. Absolutely love. And I need those shorts!
I know I know I've been dead shit recently but my camera is being extremely temperamental and is basically not turning on. It often decides to hibernate at the best of times but I really do need it for the streetstyle photos I plan to take while in London this week. Wah. Anyway a few of you have asked what my nightlife attire is like, so this is usually along the lines of what I wear (unless it's for cocktails or something… then it's a completely different story of course. There's a time and a place.) In the mean time make sure you keeping checking my online shop as I'll be updating it a lot in the next few weeks. Hope you're all good and I'll be back with outfit posts before you know it.

It's funny how something on a celebrity or friend or whatever can influence your decision so much even though it won't ever look the same on you. Freja Beha was the main influence when I had my parted fringe cut in a couple of years ago, which I have never been able to get rid of, and again when I had my hair cut short earlier this year… now she is making me rethink my decision to grow out both. I haven't had a middle parting for so long so I'm trying to grow it long enough until I can make an informed decision but it is just so damn difficult, especially when I want to look like that. Although that's pretty much impossible. Wah.
Want almost everything from the Friend of Mine SS12 collection. Been looking for the perfect pair of leather shorts and I think I may have found them… think I may also need that dungaree playsuit in my life. So so good.
I've also started using Twitter properly! Did my first hashtag today are you proud of me? I've also added my new Tumblr account to my contact details on the right so I don't have to clog up my desktop with inspirational images anymore. I'm pretty anal about the quality of images that go on this blog so if they aren't big enough to share with you on here it no longer matters. Oh and I know I've been a bit shit recently... lack of inspiration + bad weather - money = rubbish blogger. I will try my best to be back on form.
